Ukraine Discovers Components of Western and Chinese companies found in missiles used by Russia to hit Kyiv – (see photos & Proofs)

Electronic components made by European, Western, Japanese and Chinese companies have been found in the North Korean Kn-23/24 ballistic missiles that Russia fired on Kyiv in February.

The Information was released by the Ukrainska sources in law enforcement.

In particular, the missiles that fell in the Obolonskyi district of Kyiv in February contained Western microcontrollers, flash drives, converters, power supplies, amplifiers, satellite patch antennas, etc.

Among the manufacturers whose electronic components were used by the DPRK in the production of ballistic missiles are: German Siemens, American Fairchild Semiconductor International, Inc. and Analog Devices, Inc., Japanese NSK Ltd./NSK Automation, Chinese ZHONGKEWEI and others.

Some parts and fragments bear tags with handwritten Korean characters.

On 20 February, Conflict Armament Research (CAR), a UK-based investigative organisation, examined 290 components of a ballistic missile that North Korea transferred to Russia to strike Ukraine and discovered that hundreds of them were manufactured by European and American companies.

According to media reports, sanctions against the DPRK are to be included in the 13th EU sanctions package.

The Security Service of Ukraine stated that Russian forces had launched over 20 North Korean weapons on Ukrainian cities since December 2023, including Hwasong-11 (KN-23/24) ballistic missiles.
